After trying out Halloween pretzel rods and Thanksgiving pretzel rods, we had to come up with Christmas-themed pretzels. The kids have a lot of fun making these chocolate-covered treats.
The combination of the salty pretzel and sweet chocolate makes this a tasty dessert to enjoy while drinking hot cocoa. Adding holiday sprinkles makes this treat extra festive and fabulous to add to a neighbor’s gift.
Chocolate-dipped pretzel rods
- Milk and white chocolate
- Sprinkles

- Dip the pretzel in melted chocolate then add holiday sprinkles.

- Green sanding sugar or sprinkles

- Add colorful holiday sprinkles in various shapes and sizes.

- Melt white chocolate to dip the pretzel rod in ¾ of the way.
- Add a snowman icing decoration to the top of the pretzel.
- Place mini M&M candy to make buttons on the snowman.
Alternative method: if you cannot find snowman icing decorations, use candy eyes and an edible marker to make the face. Once the chocolate is set, add black dots to make the mouth and an orange marker for the nose.
