Fortnite Valentines Cards
If you have a child who enjoys playing video games, chances are you may have heard of Fortnite. The popular video game has become a cultural online phenomenon over the last year. Kids are often seen recreating the Fortnite dances, also known as emotes or victory celebrations. I know my kids enjoy flossing or doing the hype dance every chance they get.
My boys have been big fans of the video game. Last year we even had a Fortnite birthday party for one of the boys. It was a big hit, filled with easy party favors and a whole lot of flossing (a popular dance move/emote from the game).
Fortnite Pencil Valentines
With Valentine’s Day approaching I asked my son what he would like to hand out to his classmates. It was no surprise when he asked for Fortnite themed valentines. I immediately searched for something we could create a printable for and came across these pickaxe pencils.
The woodgrain covered pencils have a pickaxe shaped eraser and fit perfectly with the Fortnite theme. The video game features a pickaxe as a necessary tool to use for mining resources and accessing buildings. We ordered a pack of 24 for his classroom and paired them with printable tags I created with the phrase “I’d pick you for my squad!”

- Printable tags
- Twine
- Small hole punch
- Download the printable Fortnite inspired tags and cut.
- Use a small hole punch to thread twine around the pencil and tag.
- Finish with a bow and you’re ready to hand out some pretty cool valentines to Fortnite fans!
