Car Seat Straps Tutorial
I have to apologize for my lack of blogging and replying to comments. No baby yet, but I've been one busy mama trying to get ready for little man's arrival. I was on bed rest up until last week so I've been running around like crazy trying to finish everything up and I'm exhausted. I haven't had much time for blogging or crafting for that matter. The bed rest kind of messed up our Summer Week Themes we had planned out and my list of craft/diy projects I wanted to do. I did pull out my … [Continue reading]
Rolled Chicken Tacos
My go to meal when I'm running low on energy is this..Every time we have left over chicken hubby asks for these. My son (who is definitely my picky eater) could eat these everyday. Mini Star Pies
We recently made Mini Star Pies and they were a huge hit in our household.I'm going to be honest and say that I did not use all homemade ingredients, we definitely cheated and used these items. My big helper cutting out the stars :) We also made some pie pops that I forgot to take pictures of before they were devoured. For the blueberry filling I mixed fresh blueberries with a little bit of sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Patriotic Paper Chain
While going through my scrapbook paper I found this striped red and white paper and thought hmmm what can we make with this? I paired it with a blue sheet and came up with this idea. The kids loved putting on the star stickers. I had pictures of the kids and I making it but if you follow me on Facebook you seen that I broke my memory card right after we finished. So I had to retake these pictures and lost everything on the other card :(The kids are enjoying tearing off a chain each … [Continue reading]
Potty Treats Jar
It's that time again...to potty train that is. First let me begin by saying that I am not ready for my little girl to be potty trained. Does that make me crazy? She's been using the potty on and off since she was 18 months old and we have never pushed it on her. If she asks to use her potty we take her, if not then we don't bother. She's starting to become a lot more interested in it and the other day she said "no diaper, undies please" *tear* So we decided to go ahead and start potty training … [Continue reading]

They really liked the star on top Want to know the best part about this yummy treat? This is all I used..I've seen recipes where you … [Continue reading]
Popsicle Stick Flags
Story book theme didn't go as planned, mid week we decided to switch to a 4th of July theme. I have a list of quick, easy, and fun patriotic crafts and recipes that we're still working on. This has been one of their favorites.I had Jay paint the sticks white and red. Once they dried we glued them onto cardstock. I didn't get a picture but I taped off a square on the left hand corner and had them paint it blue. I then gave them strips of rhinestones to use as the "stars" At the last … [Continue reading]
Ocean Theme Week
Yikes! Sorry for being so late on this post. Things have been a little crazy in our household this past week. But we did continue with our Ocean Theme through the weekend and I'm finally coming around to share what we did. I apologize, I didn't get pictures of everything but here are a few. We made some handprint art to make a goldfish and octopus. Pin It I decided to frame them in these shadow boxes and give them to hubby for Father's Day. The octopus is Jay's and the … [Continue reading]
Beach Cupcakes
To help keep the kids entertained and provide some educational activities this summer, I have come up with weekly themes. This week we've been focusing learning about the ocean and of course I had to make a special treat to reflect the theme.
