Washi Tape Cup Holder & Soap Dispenser

Hi guys I’m having a blast in Chicago, this city is so much fun! So far we’ve visited Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Wrigley Field, The Magnificent Mile, and Sprinkles Cupcakes (the Chocolate & Peanut Butter cupcake is AMAZING). Today we’re headed to the zoo, back to Navy Pier for the Children’s Museum and later taking a boat to see the lake. While I’m away I’d like you to meet my sweet friend Tonia from The Gunny Sack as today’s guest post.
Hello everyone…my name is Tonia and I have a blog called The Gunny Sack.  I am delighted to be Crystal’s guest today here at A Pumpkin and a Princess because not only is this a wonderful site and you are all fabulous readers but also because Crystal is one of my blogging BFFs!
I’ve been kind of obsessed with washi tape lately so much so that the theme for this month’s Pinspired & Rewired contest is washi tape.  If you don’t already know about the contest, you can find out more on my website!  So, in keeping with my obsession, I decided to washi tape my bathroom.  Well, not the whole bathroom but a couple of the plain items on the counter.
Both my Dixie cup holder and soap dispenser are plain white with silver accents and it was about time for some added color.
So, I pulled out a roll of washi tape and cut out a bunch of triangles.  This particular roll made it super easy because I just followed the dots!
Then, I attached the washi tape triangles.  It was really easy on the cup holder and on the soap dispenser, I had to do some slight overlapping because of the curved shape. One of the things I love about washi tape is that it isn’t super sticky so it is repositionable!
I love how they turned out and how the Dixie cups match!  I’m not sure how long it will stay attached, especially on the soap dispenser which is more likely to get wet.  If it won’t stay I can always redo it and cover it with Mod Podge or something.
Thanks so much for having me as your guest today, Crystal and I hope you all stop by The Gunny Sack!
